I have a bad habit of not bringing my SLR with me because it is a PITA to carry. I got this to get rid of that excuse and it has worked perfectly. Very easy to throw the camera over my shoulder and then slide it into place to snap a photo or two, then back to the comfortable position on by back. Works great. It does attach to the tripod mount and keep this in mind if you want to use a tripod.
